Shipping Policy

Effective Date:7/9/2026

Ampstate ships industrial electrical equipment across Canada, the United States, and internationally where service is available.

1. Shipping Methods

Orders may ship by courier, LTL freight, truck freight, air freight, or customer-arranged pickup, depending on product size, weight, urgency, and destination.

Shipping options may include standard, expedited, express, freight, collect, or customer-account shipping where approved by Ampstate.

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on product size, weight, destination, service level, packaging requirements, insurance, and carrier availability.

Freight, customs duties, taxes, import charges, brokerage, tariffs, storage fees, and delivery accessorial charges are the customer’s responsibility unless expressly stated in writing.

3. Lead Times

Lead times and delivery dates are estimates only. Ampstate is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, border processing, weather, strikes, accidents, supplier delays, missed pickups, remote delivery locations, or circumstances outside Ampstate’s control.

4. Inspection Upon Delivery

The customer must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If there is visible damage, the customer must:

  • note the damage with the carrier before accepting delivery where possible;

  • take photos of the packaging, label, pallet, and product;

  • keep all packaging materials;

  • notify Ampstate in writing within 48 hours.

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may limit or void shipping claim support.

5. Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, risk of loss transfers to the customer once the goods are handed to the carrier.

Ampstate may assist with carrier claims where possible, but approval of any claim is subject to the carrier’s rules, timelines, and investigation.

6. International Shipping

For international orders, the customer is responsible for confirming import eligibility, local electrical approvals, customs requirements, taxes, duties, brokerage, and end-use compliance.

Ampstate is not responsible for customs delays, import refusal, local certification issues, or costs charged by destination authorities.
